Lisa and Milo will offer tips on what young people can do to stop bullies from hurting others. Available to Private Schools K-4th Grades We have a special interactive presentation that includes 11 volunteers for each character in the book, Milo with a Halo along with a special visit from Milo! Lisa Umina uses 11 different voices for the characters, along with sound effects. The author is known for the unique impersonations of well-known character voices; the voice of Sid fromIce Age, ET, Alvin fromAlvin and the ChipmonksandMORE! There's a little surprise for everyone, even the teachers!
The Exciting World of Writing Books: Available for Public and Private Schools Author Lisa Umina takes students on an interactive tour of the fun and exciting world of books. She helps students discover how books let them become anyone they want and can take them anywhere they want to go in their imagination. To give students a taste for the adventure that books can take them on, Lisa will also read snippets from different books The author is known for the unique impersonations of well-known character voices; the voice of Sid from Ice Age, ET, Alvin from Alvin and the Chipmunks and MORE!
Do you have a specific date in mind? It is easier to book an event if we know your event dates are secure. We suggest inviting the author 6 months to 1 year ahead of your scheduled event. The earlier you plan, the more likely that you will get your first choice. But, please email us because sometimes we have changes in our schedule.
