Donna is an award winning teacher and mother of three boys.  She loves spending time inside her head creating ideas and then trying to put them in writing.  She also enjoys fostering animals for the local shelter and working with kids.  She is curious and creative.  Her dream is to bring her appreciation for science together with her love of writing fiction for children.

Kaiser has enjoyed writing as a hobby for the past ten years.  When his son, Braylon, was born in 2005 his writing style shifted toward children's books.  He is married, and has expanded his family to include, newborn daughter Kyla, and eight year old step-daughter, Brooke.  He, his wife Sandra, and ever expanding family reside in Mentor, Ohio.  Kaiser hopes that through imaginative stories and easy to relate to characters, he can convey very important messages to today's children.

A high school student, began writing in elementary school. With encouragement from her teachers and family members, Emily submitted her work to, and was published in, The Anthology of Short Stories by Young Americans in 2003.

Megan Prescott
Squirrel and Oak, A Story of Hope

Megan was born and raised in Vermont but moved west of the Mississippi in 1993 landing first in New Mexico and then finally putting down roots in Texas.  She has been teaching art and theater to young ones for over twenty years while also pursuing her personal interest in using art as a healing tool. These days she spends her time writing and painting and enjoying life with her sweetheart Joshua and their two cats. Website

Shirley was raised in Vienna, Ohio.  She has lived across the great Southwest to the Southeast, finally making  her home near Cleveland, OH.  She has served in the leadership of three singles ministries, one being for single parents.  She is the proud mother of three beautiful daughters, ages:  28, 27, and 16, three grandchildren, and Michael who died at the age of one month in his mothers' arms.

is an author, singer, songwriter and communicator.  She says life has always moved her through her music an writing. Shawna was a semi-finalist for “America’s Favorite Single Mom” on The Today Show.

The authors, husband and wife, Raymon and Esther Reed, have used the influences they experienced as children to compose the book, Purple Pastures. The Reed's have a background as educators, ministry, and as business owners of the Walking on Water Retreat Center in Rushford, NY.
